Why choose the Claimbrains?
This is an easy one. You should choose the Claimbrains because we’ve been successfully helping people with their personal injury claims for a combined total of 80 years. And we don’t mess about; as soon as we’ve established that you have a claim, we’ll just put our heads down, get on with the job and get you your compensation.
What type of accident can I claim for?
Most accidents will fall into one of the categories listed in our type of claim section. Basically, if you’ve had an accident that wasn’t your fault, then we can help you.
If my accident was a while ago, can I still claim compensation?
Normally, you need to start a claim within 3 years of the accident happening, however, there are exceptions. Sometimes an illness or injury won’t actually manifest until years after it occurs; then, of course, you won’t lose your right to claim. Also, the 3 year rule doesn’t apply to children.
What’s involved in making a personal injury claim?
There’ll be forms to fill in and information to gather but, once we’ve done that, it won’t need repeating. From this point on, we’ll do all the hard work for you. And, just to put your mind at ease, most claims get settled without the need for court proceedings.
Can I pursue my claim on my own?
Good Grief…! I mean, yes, you can of course pursue your own claim without the help of any of our Experts. But my advice is to use us. It’s free help, we’ve got the experience to get the very best result, and, let’s face it, it’s always nice to have someone in your corner.
How much compensation will I get?
This question is impossible to answer because it depends on so many things. From the extent and severity of the injury, to how it might effect the rest of your life. I understand that’s not the answer you want, but, until we know the details, I’d just be guessing… and the Claimbrains don’t guess!
How much will it cost me to pursue a claim?
Nothing. If you lose, you don’t pay a penny; if you win, you get 100% of the damages awarded. I know what you’re thinking… how do the Claimbrains get paid, right? Well, when we choose the Expert solicitor to refer your case to, they’re so grateful for the opportunity to represent you, that they pay us a little fee to say thank you.
What if I lose my claim?
It’ll be unlikely that you lose because we’re not going to advise you to pursue a case we don’t truly believe you can win. However, if you did happen to lose, you don’t pay anything.
Has Colin got a girlfriend?
Erm, no, I don’t think he has.
How long will it take to get my compensation?
When we take on your claim, our main priority isn’t really speed, it’s getting the maximum compensation you deserve. If time is an issue for whatever reason, we can, of course, adjust our priorities… although we won’t tell the other side that!
Will I need to go to court?
Mmm, another question that depends on the details of your claim really. What I can say for sure is that most claims are settled way before the need to involve the courts.
I’m not sure if I even have a valid claim?
The main question you need to ask yourself is “was it my fault?” If the blame lies elsewhere, then you should certainly call us and we can tell you for sure whether or not you have a claim.
The person I’m thinking of claiming against is my employer and I’m worried that they can sack me.
Well, if they do, we’ll just sue them for unfair dismissal as well, won’t we! No really, don’t worry. Be assured that your employer has liability insurance to cover for incidents such as yours. So, if you claim against your boss, it’ll be the insurers who pay your compensation, not your employer.
Why don’t you get a hair transplant, Expert Peter?

Will you refer me to a local solicitor?
In most cases the solicitor dealing with your claim will be local. And most claims can be dealt with by letters, calls and emails anyway, so you shouldn’t worry too much about getting to your solicitor.
Will I need a doctor?
When your claim involves a personal injury due to negligence, for example, the first thing the other side’s solicitor will say is, “prove it”. A doctor’s professional opinion and written report detailing your injuries will be an integral part of your claim.
